Japy Freres, Paris, France, also marked Cardien, Paris & Cheron, polychrome painted porcelain figural mantel clock, 8 days, time and strike, spring driven movement with silk thread suspension in a highly decorative porcelain case featuring a male and female satyr flanking a painted horn of plenty with white enamel dial.
CONDITION:
the case is in very good condition with a small break hidden behind the female satyr and the rear cover is absent. The movement ticks but the strike will need adjustment. The dial has several light hairlines.
